CABO DE LA VELA

 CABO DE LA VELA

   Cabo de la Vela

Known to the Wayuu indigenous people as Jepirra, it is a sacred place and a      popular tourist destination for kitesurfing, desert landscapes and sunsets from the lighthouse or the Pilon de Azucar.

What to do?

In the Cabo de la Vela, I walked along the desert coast and climbed to the lighthouse. It's a plan I can recommend.

Also, you will see one of the most beautiful sunsets in Colombia. A plus, you don’t have to pay to enter the beach.
